Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

In order to use Multi Factor Authentication MFA should be enabled

  • To enable MFA for your username of the GenMapper

  • contact your admin

To download Authenticator app.

  • Go to play store or app store ad searh for the microsoft Authenticator

To setup the email for MFA code

  • First download the genmapper app if you havent’t downloaded yet.

  • After you have downloaded the app go to GenMapper to sign in

  • Put your username and password and click sign in to continue

  • After that you will be prompted to the new tab where you will be asked to scan the QR-Code like shown in the screenshot

  • Now go back to the authenticator app and open the app in your phone

  • Now tap on the 3 dots which is located in the upper right corner

  • Now after you tap it you will see various option and among them tap on “add account”

  • After tapping on the add account you will have three option, tap personal account

  • Now you will see 2 more choices here you can tap in Scan QR-Code, when you tap a QR-Code reader will pop in your phone.

  • Now scan the QR-Code from the genmapper app and tap in verify button to verify the email

Now use the one-time code generated in your register email to login to app

Note: you may need to use 2 devices for the first time inorder to register your email in authenticator app
