The standard for use of GAPP is for every participant in ministry to record his/her own activities. In certain situations, however, a teammate or group of teammates may not be able to enter Activities activities themselves. For example, a teammate may never have access to a computer or smartphone to enter his/her activities.  

By creating Detached Team Members, you can still record their activities even if they can’t cannot use GAPP directly. A Detached Team Member will not have a GAPP account, but you can enter data for them on their behalf.

  1. From the left panel, select the new member’s team  

  2. Click on “Members” in the left panel

  3. Click the “+” Button in the upper-right corner of the screen and then select “Create Member”  

  4. Enter the name for the new member and click “Create”  

  5. Your new detached team member now appears in the team member list.

  1. Select the Detached Member’s team and select “Members” 

  2. Find the Detached Member from the list, and select the “Edit” icon 

  3. Here you can change the Detached Member’s role, Remove the Detached Member, or edit Member Details
