  1. Select the appropriate Team from the side menu and select “Activities.”

  2. Now select the “Create Activity” button at the top of the screen.

  3. From the drop-down list of Core Task categories, select “Evangelism” and the Gospel Conversation Activity will open automatically. 

  4. In the “Contributors” section, select the “Add Member” symbol and the “Search” box to include anyone else from the team who was with you. Select the "Add Members" button.

    1. To prevent double counting of an activity, only one person should enter an activity and be sure to add all the other people who were involved as contributors. 

  5. In the “Location” section, select the “Default,” or “Current” button to use one of those pre-set locations.

    1. If neither of those is the correct location where the activity happened, select the Location selector to search for a different location. You can search for the location in the search box or move and zoom on the map to select the correct location. When you have the right location, select “Continue.”

  6. In the “When” section, select the date the activity happened 

  7. In the “Level of Conversation” section, select the types of conversation that happened. 

  8. In the “Language of Conversation” section, you can optionally add the language the conversation happened in 

    1. You can select one of your defaults or use the other option to select a different language from the list. By default, this brings up the languages that GAPP knows are near the location you selected, but if the language you are looking for is still not in the list, you can select the search box and type the name of the language you are looking for. 

  9. In the “Conversation Details” section, you can identify the group or groups that were impacted.

    1. For “People Group” you can select one of your defaults or use the other option to select a different people group from the list. By default, this brings up the people groups that GAPP knows are near the location you selected, but if the people group you are looking for is still not in the list, you can select the search box and type the name of the people group you are looking for. And of course, if you don’t know the people group, you can leave it as “Unknown.” 

    2. For “Language” you can select one of your defaults or use the other option to select a different language from the list.     3. For “Religious Background” you can select one of your defaults or use the other option to select a different religion from the list. By default, this brings up the religions that GAPP knows are near the location you selected, but if the religion you are looking for is still not in the list, you can select the search box and type the name of the religion you are looking for. And of course, if you don’t know the religion, you can leave it as “Unknown.” 

    4. In the “How many heard from this people group?” section, enter the number who heard. You can type directly in the box or use the plus and minus buttons to enter the number. 

    5. In the “Response” section, set the sliders to indicate the reactions of individuals to the conversation 

      1. “Already following:” how many are already following Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior 

      2. “Negative response:” how many were not interested in Jesus Christ or the gospel 

      3. “Positive response:” interested but not ready: how many were not ready but wanted to know more about the gospel 

      4. “Positive response:” decided to follow: how many decided to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior 

      5. “Unknown response:”  how many had an unknown response 

    6. If there were multiple People Groups, Languages, or Religions impacted, add them using the “Repeat” button. 

  10. In the “Global Segments” section, you can optionally select any social segments that were impacted by the conversation.

  11. In the “Comments” box, explain the activity in more detail and select Submit. 

  12. You will then return to your Team Dashboard with an “Activity Created Successfully” notification at the bottom of the screen. 

  13. If you make a mistake, you can always select the edit button for the activity, make the necessary changes, and select save.
