Before you migrate into GAPP, ensure you are a member of the workspace and team to which you want to migrate the data.

  1. If you are not part of a workspace or team, ask your workspace creator or anyone on your team to invite you to their team by following the steps outlined in this knowledge base article: Inviting a New Team Member

  2. If you are not part of an organization already using GAPP, you can learn how to create a workspace by following the steps outlined in these knowledge base articles: Creating a Workspace and New Workspace Owner or Administrator

Follow these steps to migrate your data from NPL Genmapper:

  1. Login to http://npl.genmapper.com using the same username for GAPP and npl.genmapper.

  2. Choose the generation map you wish to migrate:

    1. Church Circles

    2. Church Circles 12 Practices

    3. or Church Circles East.

  3. Choose the stream document you wish to import.

  4. Select the three dots in the upper right corner.

  5. Choose “Migrate to GAPP”.

  6. Select the GAPP workspace name you wish to migrate to.

  7. Select the GAPP team or church name you wish to migrate to.

  8. Click “Migrate”.

  9. To migrate another stream, follow steps 4-9.

To view your migrated genmap:

  1. Login to GAPP with the same account as genmapper.com.

  2. Select the workspace where you migrated your data.

  3. Select the team or church where you migrated your data.

  4. View the churches menu on that team dashboard. Your migrated genmap will appear here.
