"You Cannot Log into Genmapper": Error Message.
Some new users are experiencing an error message when they attempt to login to their newly created account. After receiving an invitation to join a team in Genmapper and creating and verifying their account, users are getting the error message picture below when they try to login from their web browser.
The message can be easily resolved. Users with standard accounts should use their newly created account to sign into the Genmapper desktop application or the Genmapper application that is installed on their mobile device. The online browser based login is only for the administrative account panel and standard users will be denied access. If a user needs access to the admin panel, they should request it from their group administrator who can grant access.
If a user is still experiencing this error message when they login to the actual Genmapper application, the user may need to download and install the latest version of the Genmapper application.
