Adding a People Group Research (or Profile) Activity
Use this template to provide a detailed profile of the location, cultural, religious, and other important information that can be shared more broadly with your teams and used for further research.
Because Templates are customizable by your Workspace owners, administrators, and creators, your version of this template may look slightly different. Questions may be phrased differently, be in a different order, or there may even be questions that do not appear in this article and video.
Create a People Group Research [Profile] activity
Select the Team you’d like to add this activity to, then create a “People Group Research [Profile]” activity in the Entry Core Task:
Method 1: Select the “+ Activity” button at the top right of the GAPP window
Method 2: Click the “+” button just beside the name of the team which will log the activity
Enter Activity Information
The activity template contains similar elements to other forms, including the “Find a People Group” selector (Tutorial: Using the Find a People Group feature)
Fill in the location, date, people group, Global Segments (optional), and estimated population details.
Answer the question titled: “Has this People Group been found (face-to-face)?”
Answering this question will reveal a lengthy and detailed set of questions about this specific people group. It is only possible to select one people group for this activity.
Complete any or all of the various sections of questions, all of which are optional. Question types will vary throughout these sections.
Fill in any additional Comments and click Submit to complete the activity template.
Note that a best practice is to complete whatever information you can, then return to this activity multiple times to complete or edit any information. (Tutorial: Editing an Activity)
