The People Group dashboard, powered by peoplegroups.org and now accessible via the Research Tab in GAPP, allows you to explore people groups around the world by filtering on various data points such as engagement status, religion, country, language, etc. Specific people group information from peoplegroups.org is included for each people group as well.

All data panels are interactive. If you click on, for instance, the country of Nigeria in the “Country” data panel, all of the data on the page filters for the country of Nigeria, including the people group list and indicators. Once filtered, a CSV table of the people groups and their associated metrics can be downloaded by clicking the download button in the lower left of the People Group panel.

Note: If the download button fails, it is likely your browser’s popup blocker, which you can fix by clicking on your browser’s popup notification and allowing popups.

Similarly, you can use the filters at the top of the page to filter your data by single or multiple selections, updating in context the entire dashboard's information.

Searching and Changing the Map view:
Within the central map, click on the Feature drop-down to access search, layers, and other features.

Search for a specific place:

  1. Click on the icon and type in a country, city, or other location name.

  2. The map (if found) will zoom in on the location.

Change to points instead of polygons:

  1. Click on the icon to toggle the “Point” layer instead of the default “Polygons”.

  2. Toggle between the two at any time or zoom level.
