Unlike chained activities which sum the individuals impacted by an activity, some activity types – Evangelism, Discipleship or Training, or Leadership Training – often occur with the same individuals multiple times. Whether it’s a one-time recurrence or a regular weekly meeting we don’t want to double count those individuals, but only count them once.
GAPP can account for those recurring activities.
Recurring properties are set by the Workspace Creator, so templates which are recurring may differ according to your Workspace. Workspace Administrators may refer to our (upcoming) help article for https://taethni.atlassian.net/wiki/x/WoAtOg.
Recurring activity aggregation in the summary cards is still under construction.
To Enter a Recurring Activity
Find the original occurrence of the activity.
Select the activity to open the Activity details pane.
Select the Recurring button.
Enter the date for the recurrence and edit any other details that differ from the original occurrence.
Select Submit

The total number of leaders trained will equal 15
Chained
If you enter these Leadership Training Activities:

05 November 2023, 5 leaders trained, chained from 05 October 2023

The total number of leaders trained will equal 15, and the activities are related.
Recurring
