If you are not able to view the maps in GAPP and encounter a WebGL error, make sure that you update to the most recent version of your browser. In some cases, you may have to enable WebGL manually.

Here is how to enable WebGL in Safari:

  1. Select Safari from the menu bar

  2. Select Preferences

  3. Select the Websites tab

  4. Select WebGL from the list on the left side of the window

  5. Go to the Advanced tab

  6. Check the box marked "Show Develop menu in menu bar"

  7. Go to Develop > Enable WebGL

Here is how to enable WebGL in Chrome:

  1. Go to chrome://settings in your address bar, or click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the browser window and select Settings.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced.

  3. In the System section, toggle Use hardware acceleration when available to the ON position (the button should be blue).

  4. Click the Relaunch button to restart Chrome and apply your new settings.

Here is how to enable WebGL in Firefox:

  1. Go to about:config in your address bar.

  2. Search for webgl.force-enabled and make sure this preference is set to true. If it is currently set to false, click the toggle icon on the far right to change the value to true.

  3. Search for webgl.disabled and make sure this preference is set to false. If it is currently set to true, click the toggle icon on the far right to change the value to false.

  4. Restart Firefox to apply your new settings.
