Before you migrate into GAPP, ensure you are a member of the workspace and team to which you want to migrate the data.
If you are not part of a workspace or team, ask your workspace creator or anyone on your team to invite you to their team by following the steps outlined in this knowledge base article: Inviting a New Team Member
If you are not part of an organization already using GAPP, you can learn how to create a workspace by following the steps outlined in these knowledge base articles: Creating a Workspace and New Workspace Owner or Administrator
Follow these steps to migrate your data from NPL Genmapper:
Login to http://npl.genmapper.com using the same username for GAPP and npl.genmapper.
Choose the generation map you wish to migrate:
Church Circles
Church Circles 12 Practices
or Church Circles East.
Choose the stream document you wish to import.
Select the three dots in the upper right corner.
Choose “Migrate to GAPP”.
Select the GAPP workspace name you wish to migrate to.
Select the GAPP team or church name you wish to migrate to.
Click “Migrate”.Your church
stream will now appear on the Churches tab (genmap view) in the GAPP workspace.A notification that the migration is in progress will appear.
Once the process is complete, you will receive an email.

Do not navigate away from genmapper until you have received the successful migration email. |
You can only migrate a stream once. If you try to migrate a stream which has already been migrated, you will receive a notification that the migration was already completed.
To migrate another stream, follow steps 4-9.
To view your migrated genmap:
Login to GAPP with the same account as genmapper.com.
Select the workspace where you migrated your data.
Select the team or church where you migrated your data.
View the churches menu on that team dashboard. Your migrated genmap will appear here.
