  1. Select Settings in the personal area of the Side Bar.

  2. Select Manage Account.

  3. Select Security from the side bar or the main area of the page.

  4. Select “Enable Two-Step Verification”

  5. If you do not already have an authentication app, download either Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator from the AppStore for iOS or Google Play for Android.

  6. Scan the QR code or enter the key with your authentication app.

  7. Enter the unique code .

  8. Copy the list of recovery codes in a safe place

  9. Select Done

  10. Now your account is protected with two factor authentication and the next time you log in you will need to provide the authenticator code after entering your password.

    1. You can also select whether you want GAPP to remember this device to reduce the number of times you have to use the authenticator on this machine.

    2. You can also use one of your recovery codes to authenticate if you do not have access to your authenticator app.
